well, it's been a relatively busy few days here. Yesterday, drove to Nashville after work to visit my cousin. (yes, that means I was working on a Saturday... hooray for the american work ethic, eh?) He & his wife have 2 of the absolutely cutest little girls that you have ever seen. I'll try to figure out how to get a .jpg of them uploaded before too long.

With regards to the angst & pathos from earlier posts: well, it's still there, just not in the posts. I've still got this whole uncertainty re: the future of my relationship/entire life hanging over my head. Let me tell you: if anyone ever offers you the choice of uncertainty re: the future of your relationship/entire life and CERTAINTY re: the same... well, suffice it to say that I don't drink the UNcola.

VP Debate is over... it was a draw.

Beginning of West Frankfort High School Homecoming Parade. (they won)  

While watching the vice-presidential debate:

1st view: Cheney is an asshole. There is no real surprise there; he's been an asshole for some time.

2nd point: Sen Edwards broke into one homily. (so far.) Cheney responded with a SAVAGE attack on John Edwards. Personally. I didn't feel the heat, as I did with Zell... but I *did* think (as McCain said on the Daily Show) that Kerry/Edwards must have done kilt Cheney's dog.

3rd point: the Israel question was a mistake, and allowed them to go on the ATTACK.

Fascinating, so far.
